I got down to Camber for 8.15am this morning at the behest of Ed. I seriously questioned the wisdom of leaving my warm bed at 6:00am this morning, but I'm glad I did. It was bolt onshore at Camber and about 25/30kts - ideal 4.7 and Flow weather for me, and when I got on the water at just before 9.00 it was perfect for practising in small ankle snappers in waist deep water. Didn't really do anything to write home about, but got some useful practise in. Ed and Andy were having a ball blasting the entire length of the beach down to the harbour entrance and back. I never managed to get going for much more than 30 second before crashing and burning! Still enjoyed it nevertheless...I'm just pleased to be able to say I got a two hour sail in at Camber in the middle of January!
